Ezra was a more agreeable character, you could count on him but he was an extreme perfections.
Wanting a child, he agreed to a child reluctantly, first Cody who was charming but instead a very cruel person, then Ezra. Then she met Beck Tull, a salesman who she married and the couple moved a lot. At thirty, it seemed like she would never get married. Pearl Tull is elderly and has lost most of her eyesight and lies on her death bed at the beginning of the book. I read an 33 year olf paperback edition and everytime I opened the book, I sneezed, and sneezed severak times while reading each time.Īnne Taylor did a good job of creating the family characters but it was depressing. This one is of the very few disappointing books that I have read by Anne Taylor.
